SyrianDocDays, short for’ Syrian Documentary Film Days’, is an initiative, dedicated to stories about Syria that go beyond the general narrative. The annual event includes film screenings, talks and other artistic & cultural activities. SDD 2018 was launched in Copenhagen in collaboration with Cinemateket under the ‘Arabian Nights’ program, the Syrian Cultural Institute and Finjan:

As part of the establishment of the first Syrian Documentary Film Festival, and in the efforts to reach broader audiences beyond Denmark, SDD takes place yearly also in Norway & Sweden and expanded to Germany in 2022.

Among the main tasks I was involved with in this project are: Film & Moderators Curation, PR & Communications, Event Coordination, Art Direction of Brand & Identity and the overall concept and establishment of the festival.
